GM Markets is in public beta. The core flows — connect, deposit, trade, withdraw — work end-to-end and are backed by 1:1 custody, but you should expect rough edges as we iterate quickly. Some surfaces are marked with a small tag to flag where the experience is still evolving (e.g. leaderboard, the AI assistant, real-time chart data).
Trade with funds you can afford to test. The fastest way to reach us during beta is Telegram (linked in the search modal and footer), or email feedback@gm.markets with bugs, ideas, or anything that surprised you.
GM Markets makes the global equity market accessible as on-chain tokens. Every stock and ETF on the platform is fully backed 1:1 by an underlying share held in custody at a regulated broker-dealer such as Alpaca Markets or Interactive Brokers, and lives in your own wallet as a standard on-chain token.
That means you get the same price exposure as a traditional brokerage account, plus the composability of crypto — your AAPL or NVDA position can be lent, borrowed against, supplied as liquidity, or used as collateral across the broader DeFi ecosystem.
GM Markets is for anyone with a wallet and an internet connection who wants to trade US stocks, ETFs, commodities, FX, and other assets on-chain. That includes people without access to a US brokerage, sophisticated on-chain users who want to borrow against a tokenized portfolio, and AI agents trading on behalf of their owners.
Traditional brokerages and on-chain finance have lived in two separate worlds. GM Markets joins them: permissionless wallet-native onboarding, full DeFi composability, and the same custody-backed instrument underneath every path.
We charge a trading fee that ranges from 10 to 20 basis points (0.10% to 0.20%) — 20 bps by default, scaling down to 10 bps as your 14-day volume grows through the VIP tier ladder. That is the entirety of our revenue model. We do not charge deposit fees, withdrawal fees, custody fees, inactivity fees, or FX markups, and network gas is abstracted through your smart account so you never see or manage a native chain token.
The full breakdown is on the Pricing page.
The underlying shares for every tokenized asset are held in segregated accounts at regulated US broker-dealers such as Alpaca Markets and Interactive Brokers, under the protections of their respective jurisdictions. Reserves are independently attested in real time by a third-party proof-of-reserves provider.
You can verify the live backing ratio for every asset on the Proof of Reserves page, and read more about the security model on the Security page.
